🇳🇱 Over Pouwly

Pouwly begon ooit met een paar simpele krabbels op een tablet. Kleine, grappige monstertjes met een eigen wil. Twee jaar later zijn die schetsen uitgegroeid tot een bonte verzameling cartoonachtige diertjes, plantjes en andere vrolijke figuren die nu een nieuw thuis hebben gevonden — op kleding en meer.

Bij Pouwly draait het om plezier, creativiteit en een vleugje eigenzinnigheid. De tekeningen krijgen, in samenwerking met mijn vrouw Justine, ook een nieuw leven in de vorm van wenskaarten — zij zorgt voor de vormgeving, Pouwly voor de tekeningen.

We kiezen bewust voor kwaliteit en duurzaamheid: zoveel mogelijk 100% katoen en producten met keurmerken als Vegan Approved, Fair Wear en OEKO-TEX®. Want we vinden dat iets moois ook goed gemaakt moet zijn — voor mens, dier en planeet.

Pouwly started with a few simple scribbles on a tablet. Small, funny monsters with a mind of their own. Two years later, those sketches have evolved into a colorful collection of cartoonish animals, plants, and other cheerful creatures that have now found a new home—on clothing and more.
Pouwly is all about fun, creativity, and a practical, unique approach. Together with my wife Justine, the drawings are also getting a new lease on life in the form of greeting cards—she takes care of the design, Pouwly takes care of the drawings.
We consciously choose quality and sustainability: 100% cotton whenever possible and products with certifications like Vegan Approved, Fair Wear , and  OEKO-TEX®. We believe that something beautiful should also be well-made—for people, animals, and the planet.
